Our friendly team of receptionists, nurses, dentists & hygienist are all here to help and serve you. If you want any help, advice or reassurance please ask. Nick Williams BDS has been the owner at Lime Tree Dental Practice with the help of his wife Anita, since it opened in 2003.

Anita Williams
Practice Manager and Compliance Coordinator
Time has flown by since I helped my husband, Nick to establish Lime Tree Dental Practice in 2003. Back then we had a 1 year old. 20 years and two more children later and we have watched the families of our patients grow as ours has grown. Its been a privilege to be a part of the Portishead community. Our journey so far has included so many friends, made through local schools, PTFA, governor, church safeguarding officer and teaching children’s liturgy, swimming, guide helper, rower, RNLI family and OAP volunteer. I have juggled our children with reception and practice manager duties and am very proud to be part of our skilled and friendly dental team at Lime Tree Dental Practice.

Hello, I’m Amanda, receptionist at Lime Tree.
I’ve lived in Portishead since primary school and I’ve worked at Lime Tree for 20 years.
We are like a family, always there to help and support one another.

My name is Joanna, I am one of the receptionists for the practice and I have been working here for 2 years. I so enjoy working here.

Senior Dental Nurse and Sedation Coordinator GDC no. 159874
Emily is our longest serving dental nurse, and has worked at Lime Tree Dental Practice since 2013. Emily is our senior and lead dental nurse and oversees many aspects of our practice.
Outside of work Emily enjoys spending time with her daughter and watching documentaries
Kerry Russell
Dental Nurse GDC no. 134128
I have worked at Lime Tree since 2021. I have been a qualified Dental Nurse for over 25 years with an additional sedation qualification.
In my spare time, I enjoy swinging Kettlebells, spending time with my family and watching my boys play rugby.
Kelli Flay
Dental Nurse GDC no. 298036
Joining the team in 2022, I have recently taken on responsibilities for the social media and advertising for the practice. Outside of work I like to be active in our local community and enjoy spending time with my family and socialising.

Daisy Powell
Dental Nurse GDC no. 265813
Daisy joined Lime Tree in 2024, having gained many years of experience as lead dental nurse at a large orthodontic practice. Daisy brings with her a wide range of experiences in helping to run a dental practice.
Daisy says.. “The atmosphere at Lime Tree is friendly and calming. Here there is a patient centred approach. It is so nice to have time to spend with the patients during their treatments”

Nick Williams BDS (Birmingham)

The practice was started & is partly owned by Nicholas Williams BDS known as Nick. Nick has a vast experience of general dental practice. He carries out a wide range of treatments to restore/rebuild/replace teeth, maintain & improve gum health. For over 10 years Nick has been offering straighter teeth to our patients, using cosmetic orthodontic solutions including a clear aligner system ClearCorrect.
Nick says “It brings me an immense sense of pride to have been running our practice with my wife Anita, in our great town of Portishead for over 20years. We have a great team at the practice, that bring so much care to our patients. “We want to be the BEST dental practice for YOU” is our goal and it is so lovely to hear in reviews and testimonials that the team have delivered on this goal for so many of our patients, over the years.”
Lacie Bowen BDS (Bristol), BSc, FdSc
Dentist GDC No. 265158
Lacie Bowen BDS, BSc, FdSc, joined the team at Lime Tree in 2021. In 2026 Lacie became a director and part owner of Lime Tree Dental Practice Ltd.
Lacie is a confident and enthusiastic dentist with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing patients with the highest quality care possible.
Lacie was formerly a dental technician before going on to train as a dentist. In addition to being a dentist, Lacie is a Forensic Odontologist outside of surgery hours, where she works alongside Avon and Somerset Police, Pathologists & Coroner.
Lacie says “I am committed to, and adept at, providing patients with a comfortable and successful experience. I pride myself on having excellent communication skills and have enjoyed building trusting relationships with my patients at Lime Tree”.
Lacie is at Lime Tree four days a week (Mon, Weds, Thurs & Fri).
Scott Jones BDS (Bristol), MFDS RCS (Edin), PGDip (Dental Implantology)
Dentist GDC no 228083
Scott graduated from Bristol Dental School in 2012 winning prizes in Oral Surgery (for exceptional clinical ability in dental extractions and related procedures) and communication skills.
Scott focuses on providing dental implant treatments, including, advanced bone grafting, gum grafting and cosmetic cases. He has trained around the UK and internationally, including completion of the Advanced Surgical Master Curriculum in Regenerative Implant Dentistry with the world-renowned Prof Istvan Urban. Scott also provides oral surgery procedures including surgical extractions, wisdom tooth removal and biopsies.
Scott’s passion and expertise for surgical dentistry has led to him being appointed as a Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery at Bristol Dental School. This involves teaching the next generation of dentists how to extract teeth via delivering lectures and direct supervision of students treating patients.
Scott is passionate about digital dentistry and enjoys using new technologies to improve his treatments and the experience of our patients. This has led to him adopting a computer guided implant surgical approach to increase the level of accuracy of the implant treatment and improve long-term outcomes.
Scott believes in lifelong learning and is constantly undertaking new training to be able to provide the most up to date techniques and treatments. In 2017 he successfully achieved membership to the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. In 2020, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology at the University of Bristol, achieving a distinction. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology.
Scott is Bristol born and bred and loves spending time with his wife and 2 young children. He enjoys seeing the world and playing football and squash.
Alice Hardy BDS (Cardiff)
Dentist GDC no 301766
Alice is originally from Northern Ireland. She graduated, with honours, from Cardiff School of Dentistry in 2022.
Since then, Alice has spent her time practicing as a general dentist in the Bath area as well as acquiring knowledge and skills in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal United Hospital, Bath. During this time, Alice was awarded membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
Alice is passionate about good quality general dentistry and uses modern adhesive techniques and digital technology.
Alice has a calm and gentle nature, which helps nervous patients feel relaxed and at ease.
Ellie Tomkins (Bristol)
Dental Hygienist and Therapist GDC no. 235682
Ellie joins our team as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist. She has had many years experience in dentistry and dental practice, in a number of roles.
Ellie says “I can provide oral health education to adults and children, as well as clinically carrying out preventive, periodontal and restorative treatments. Working in dentistry always gives me enormous satisfaction. It is great when I see happy smiles of my patients, and in a way I am part of that”.
Outside of work Ellie enjoys spending time with friends & family, keeping fit, trying new restaurants, and city breaks
