How much do dental implants cost in Bristol/North Somerset? All patients will be provided with a personalised treatment plan and costing by Scott Jones, at Lime Tree. Single implants starting from around £3,000 to over £3,995 depending on the circumstances
Is the dental implant procedure painful? The procedure is done under local anaesthetic and is “totally painless” during the process. There is likely to be some mild discomfort afterwards. We will advise you on pain relief and painkillers
How long do dental implants last? Implants are considered a long-term solution, typically lasting 10–20 years, in many cases they can last a lifetime if maintained with good oral hygiene.
Am I a suitable candidate for dental implants? Generally, adults in good health with sufficient jawbone are suitable.
How long does the entire treatment process take? The process, including healing and osseointegration (fusing to the bone), typically takes 3 to 8 months.
Do I need a bone graft? If the jawbone is not thick enough or is too soft, a bone graft may be needed to support the implant. Scott Jones will advise you about the need or not.
What are the alternatives to dental implants? Common alternatives discussed are dental bridges and dentures.
Can I get dental implants on the NHS? Implants are rarely available on the NHS, typically only for cases involving severe bone loss, accidents, or mouth cancer, through dedicated Dental Hospitals or specialist centres.They are not available in NHS dental practices.
What is the success rate of dental implants? Success rates vary, patient to patient, surgeon to surgeon and practice to practice. We consider our success rate to be between 95-99%
